Condolence & Memory Journal

Long before IPD he was a classmate at FTHS, class of 1954. We had some good times and not so good times but all were memorable. He is and will be missed.

Reed was appreciated and respected by all the officers that knew him. He was something to watch working - he was effective and certainly helped educate all those who came in contact with him. RIP my friend!

There isn't enough space here to list the many times Reed showed courage and bravery in the line of duty to protect citizens. Reed was a good man that always had your back. Just remember this; he would have given his life to save yours. I saw him do it twice. Thanks pal and thank you Wanda and Sissy. Skipzrcte

On behalf of the Société de Police - IPD Adam & Edward, our condolences to the family and friends of Reed L. Moistner on learning of his departure from this life.

To Wanda and the family we offer the following thought that was written for such life events: Life is pleasant... Death is peaceful... It's the transition that's troublesome.

I'll always remember when we were riding the 52 ford 8N down to the bottom field to plant corn and you singing the theme from Davy Crockett.
