Bremon "Bud" Leon Lindsey, 71, of Greenfield, IN passed away on July 3,2019 at his home surrounded by his family. Bud was born on October 22, 1947 to Bremon Leon Lindsey and Lena Loribele Lindsey in Indianapolis, IN. Bud worked at West Bakery, Wonderbread and then as manager at Kroger Bakery. He met and married his wife Judith Ann Lindsey at the age of 16, who survives.Bud was known for being a hard worker, compassionate, caring, and loving family man. He never knew a stranger and would help anyone in need. Bud would spend hours on end with an open ear listening and sharing his great advice and wisdom.
He loved to go fishing, boating and taking his family camping. He is survived by his wife Judith (Judy) Ann Lindsey, his daughters Vickie Sue Sedam, Connie Ann Lindsey and son Jeffery Scott Lindsey, one brother Ronald Lindsey, four sisters Evelyn (Richard) Leonard, Shirley Crouch, Rosie (Clarence) Grimes, and Kay (Bob) Yorn, Grandchildren Sarah (Matt) Gritter,  Ryan (Brittney) Keck, Eric Sedam, Jacob Gregory, Jessie (Jackie) Lindsey, Tony DeMichieli; great-grandchildren Brianna, Marissa, Gavin , Kayla, Logan, Carter, Reed, Cole, Gracie, and Logan.  In addition to his parents, he was proceeded in death by his two brothers Sonny Lindsey and Jerry Lindsey. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, July 9, 2019, at 2:00 PM at Hendryx Mortuary, Cumberland Chapel, 11636 E. Washington St., Indianapolis, IN, 46229. Friends may visit from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at the mortuary.
