James Mitchell Crain,55, passed away Tuesday October 19,2021 at his residence. He was a caring person and touched many lives. He was born in Indianapolis to Joe Mitchell Crain and Carolyn Lucas Crain who survive. He was a graduate of Lawrence Central High School 1983 and ITT Technical Institute. James worked at Lucas Oil Products and Carvana. He liked to restore cars and motorcycles in his spare time. If you liked the Colts, James led the team onto the field with a motorcycle before the game. James liked spending time with and spoiling his grandson, Hunter James Long. He is survived by his wife Laurie Carol Crain, a daughter Ashley Long, brother Robert Crain, sister Jessica Viles, husband John, grandson Hunter James Long and nieces and nephews Meranda and Jermiah Daily and Joshua Blair and Samantha Crain. Visitation will be on Saturday October 23,2021 from 10 AM until 12 PM at Hendryx Mortuary Cumberland Chapel 11636 East Washington St, Indianapolis IN 46229, with Funeral Service to follow at 12 PM.
