Joanna Lee (Hayes) Entler, 54, of Indianapolis, IN, passed away on February 18, 2018 at her home. Joanna was born August 17, 1963, in Indianapolis, IN, to William Jasper Hayes and Frances Joan (Freeland) Hayes. After completing her education, she worked for many years in recreational therapy for Community East Hospital. Joanna had many joys in life and brought much joy and laughter into the lives of those around her, she loved karaoke and music, laughing, and being the life of the party; however, she found that her greatest joy was the time she spent with her family and close friends who will all miss her very much.
Joanna is survived by her sons, Charles Edward (Natalia) Bostic III, and James Earl Robinson II; niece, Natalie Jo Spink; great-nephew Nathaniel Joseph Spink; her three brothers, Kenneth Roy (Lesley) Hayes, Michael William (Cindy) Hayes, and Steven Wayne (Peggy) Hayes; two granddaughters, Anastasia Alexis-Lee Bostic and Nastascia Antoinette Bostic; seven nieces and nephews; as well as fourteen great-nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Cheryl Hilton.
Visitation for Joanna will be held Tuesday Feb. 20, 2018, from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at Hendryx Mortuary, 11636 East Washington St., Indianapolis, IN, 46229. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the mortuary. Burial will follow in Lincoln Memory Gardens Cemetery.
