Keith G. Bowman of Indianapolis died Saturday, May 6, 2017. He was 81 years old. Keith was born in Chicago, IL. On June 10, 1935 to the late Guy and Anne (Adams) Bowman. He attended Shortridge High School in Indianapolis. On July 26, 1967 Keith married Betty (McMillan) Bowman, and they enjoyed 49 wonderful years together. Keith was involved in sales for most of his working career. He was an avid golfer and bowler. He also enjoyed watching and rooting for the Chicago Cubs. Keith always had a clever joke, bad story, or unusual anecdote. No one was safe from his sense of humor or his infectious smile. In addition to his parents, Keith was preceded in death by brothers; Jay, Guy, and Robert Bowman, and grandson; Brandon Bowman. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Betty. Also surviving are his children; Gary Bowman and wife Mary, Brad Bowman and wife Jill, Darren Bowman and wife Marlene. Daughters; Betty Brown and husband Daniel, and Terri Uppfalt and husband Stephen, as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Services for Keith Bowman are Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at 11:00a.m. at Hendryx Mortuary, Cumberland Chapel, 11636 E. Washington St, Indianapolis, IN. 46229 with visitation from 10:00a.m. until time of service. Hendryx Mortuary is honored to be assisting the Bowman family with arrangements.
