Lena Mae (Wiese) Cunningham, 92, of Indianapolis, IN, passed away on March 20, 2018. Lena was born on March 25, 1925, in Indianapolis, IN, to Gilbert Wiese and Mabel (Fye) Wiese. After completing her education, she later met and married her husband, Robert Eugene Cunningham, who preceded her in death. Lena worked as a payroll clerk as well as served as an executive secretary for Chrysler. She then continued and became a successful real estate agent for many years until the time of her retirement. Lena enjoyed life and was known for being independent and intelligent, as well as very kind. She was very active throughout her life and enjoyed bowling, tennis, water skiing, golf, and avid Colts and Pacers fan. Lena is survived by her nephew, Rick Wiese; as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her former husband, Robert Eugene Cunningham; three sisters; six brothers; as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Lena will be held Tuesday, March 27, 2018, at 1:00 PM at Hendryx Mortuary, 11636 East Washington St., Indianapolis, IN, 46229. Friends may visit from 11:00 AM until the time of service at the mortuary. Entombment will follow at Washington Park East Cemetery.
