Malcolm Eugene McKinney, 83, of Indianapolis, IN, passed away on January 8, 2018, at his home with his family by his side. Malcolm was born June 4, 1934, in Farmers, KY, to Cleates McKinney and Cannie (Jones) McKinney. After completing his education, he enlisted in the Army and proudly served his country until he was honorably discharge from the service. He later worked for many years as an Supervisor for Bryant Heating & Air Conditioning Company until the time of his retirement. Malcolm was a hard worker and enjoyed the time he spent with his family, who will miss him very much.
Malcolm is survived by his daughter, Sherry (Mike) McKinney; four grandchildren, Lindsay (Bruce) Ehrgott, Shannon (Mike) Forbes, Chelsea Brittain, and Jillian Brittain; three great-grandchildren; his sister, Maxine Cousert; and ex-wife, Alberta McKinney.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Vicki Brittain; as well as six brothers, Ralph, Russell, Ray, Robert, Lester, and Luster.
Visitation for Malcolm will be held Saturday, Jan. 13, 2018, from 11:00AM – 1:00 PM at Hendryx Mortuary, 19 E. Main St., New Palestine, IN 46163. Funeral Service will be at 1:00 PM following visitation. Memorial contributions may be made in Malcolm's memory to the American Cancer Society.
