Margaret Ella Hadler, known to friends and family as "Peggy," a native of Mason, Illinois, passed away on February 27th, 2018, at the age of 84 years. She passed peacefully at Otterbein Senior Living in St. Mary's, Ohio. Peggy formerly lived in New Palestine, Indiana and moved to Boca Raton, Florida during her retirement to enjoy the warm sun. Peggy worked for 30 years as an accountant for the Federal Government at Fort Harrison Finance Center, was a licensed realtor, was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Indianapolis, and a Shepherd of the Coast in Boca Raton, Florida. She enjoyed traveling and lived in Japan, visited Russia and Paris in her lifetime. She loved time with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed helping others and was always kind, forgiving, and funny. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband Ray Field. She is survived by her sister Linda Warren, and brother Kenneth (Carol) Morton and cousin Ina Funkhouser. She is survived by her children Linda (Jeff) Hadler Davis of New Knoxville Ohio, Larry (Melinda) Hadler, New Palestine, Indiana, Lee Eric Hadler Fort Lauderdale, Florida and her grandchildren Stephanie (Andrew) Hadler Boothe, Steven Hadler, Shawn Hadler, James (Bethany) Davis, and Jessica (Greg Pugh) Davis along with great-grandchildren Ashley Boothe, Alyssa Boothe, Andrea Boothe, Hank Hadler, Austin Boothe, Waylon Hadler, and Kingsley Davis.

Funeral services for Margaret will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2018, at 12:00 PM at Hendryx Mortuaries, 11636 East Washington St., Indianapolis, IN 46229. Friends may visit from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Burial will follow in New Palestine Cemetery. Pastor Jason Taylor will be presiding over the services.
