Nancy Louise (Emberton) Kniep, 76, of Indianapolis, IN, passed away on January 13, 2017, at Franciscan Health Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born on May 31, 1940, in Tompkinsville, KY, to Marvin B. Emberton and Myrtle B. (Deckard) Emberton. She later met and married Don Kniep and they have been happily married since January 19, 1961. After her marriage, she took pride in working in her home and raising her family. She was a bright spirit who enjoyed gardening, flowers, and found that her greatest source of joy was the time she shared with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom she loved so very much. Nancy is survived by her husband, Don Kniep; her daughter, Terri Wilson (Jeffery); daughter, Debbie Deck (Brad); daughter, Pamela Redenbarger; grandchildren, Amanda, Jeffery, Stephen, and Kala; great-grandchildren, Jacob, Jackson, Jayden, Hayden, Emma, and Stella; as well as her sister, Judy Marlow.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Frank, Marshall, and Wanda; and brother-in-law, Harold Marlow.

Funeral Services for Nancy will be held on Wednesday January 18, 2017, at 12:00 PM with visitation from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM prior to service at Hendryx Mortuary – New Palestine Chapel, 19 East Main St. New Palestine, IN 46163. Burial will follow at New Palestine Cemetery. Hendryx Mortuaries is honored to be assisting the family with the arrangements.
