Reed Lee Moistner, 80, of Vicksburg, MS, formerly of Indianapolis, passed away on Tuesday June 20, 2017 at his home in Vicksburg. Reed was born on January 7, 1937 to the late Ray and Mamie (Bostitch) Moistner in Indianapolis, IN. He retired from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department at the rank of Lieutenant and was a member of the Masonic Lodge.
Services for Reed will be Friday June 30, 2017 at 12:00 PM at Hendryx Mortuary – Cumberland Chapel, 11636 East Washington St., Indianapolis, IN 46229. Friends may visit Friday from 11:00 AM until time of service. Burial will be in Buck Creek Christian Cemetery with IMPD Chaplain to preside.
