Thomas "Tom" Lee Barber, passed away on Thursday, October 15, 2020 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Tom was born on April 25, 1938 in Beech Grove, Indiana to Bert and Mildred Barber.
Tom enjoyed fishing and all sports, he was always going to a game at New Palestine High School. He was at every sporting event for his grandchildren and great grandchildren and loved the time he spent with them. Tom was a friendly person and could tell a fish story to anyone. Tom was a wonderful family man and will be missed by many.
Tom is survived by his daughter, Joyce E. Cooper (Allen), two granddaughters: Kendra (Mike) Gaines and Candice (Zach) McFarland, and three great grandsons; Micah, Tom and Ben.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 57 years Becky Barber, a daughter Ginny (Virginia) Barber, and a brother, Gerald Barber.
A memorial service for Tom will be held on Thursday, October 22, 2020 at 2 P.M. at Hendryx Mortuaries New Palestine Chapel, 19 E. Main Street, New Palestine, IN 46163. Friends may call from 12:00 noon until the time of service on Thursday. Burial will follow at New Palestine Cemetery. Online condolences may be made to Tom's family at Hendryxmortuary.com
