Walter Glen Timmons passed away on September 7, 2017 at the age 78 in Indianapolis, IN. He was born on January 10, 1939, the son of Virginia and Newell Timmons, both of whom preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Tracie East, and his brother, Don Timmons.

He is survived by his wife, Jackie Timmons, of Indianapolis, IN; daughter, Sally Curtis, and husband, Garry Curtis, of Indianapolis, IN; his daughter, Batina Timmons, and wife, Bobbi Peterson, of Riverview, FL; his grandson, Jordan East, and wife, Kinsey East, of Austin, TX; grandson, Jonathan East, and fiancé, Emily Miller, of Indianapolis, IN; son-in-law, Bill East, of Indianapolis, IN; grandson, Jett Sramek, of Riverview, FL; granddaughter, Isadora Sramek, of Riverview, FL; sister-in-law, Susan Timmons, of Battleground, IN; nephew, Thom Timmons, and wife, Karen Timmons, of Monticello, IN; and nephew, Tim Timmons, and wife, Heather Timmons, of Park Ridge, IL.

Glen graduated from Culver Military Academy in 1958. After high school he attended Indiana University. He was a real estate investor with his wife, Jackie. Jackie and Glen met in Lafayette, IN in 1964 and married on December 26, 1965. Glen loved to play golf, play poker, watch sports games with his wife, and spent many summers on the boat with his family and friends. Glen and Jackie had a lake house for many years, first at Lake Shaffer, then Lake Freeman in Monticello, IN. They also enjoyed many trips to Florida visiting family and friends. Those memories will forever last with his wife here on earth, and with Glen in heaven.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 4:00 PM to 8:00PM on Friday September 15th at Maple Creek Country Club. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ovar'coming Together, www.ovariancancerin.org, an Indiana-based ovarian cancer research and awareness group, in memory of his daughter, Tracie East.
